This event is perfect for beginners! We use the Night Before Christmas Stocking pattern (you'll need to grab a copy of this separately) and we break down the construction of the stocking into four easy sections delivered weekly.

You'll learn new tips and tricks, connect with makers from all over the world, and be inspired to take time out for yourself to create something truly special!

What's the Schedule?

Week 1 - Basting Hexies

We'll start by learning all about English paper piecing and the easy way to glue baste your fabric hexagons

Week 2 - Stitching Hexies

It's time to hand stitch all those hexagons together

Week 3 - Sewing Stocking

We'll quilt the stocking panels, sew the lining and put the stocking together (including the hanging loop and binding on the top).

Week 4 - Stitching Mouse

This week is all about sewing with wool felt. Make the mouse that comes with the pattern or sew the free gingerbread instead!

Week 5 - Show and Tell

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Many of our members already have the Night Before Christmas Stocking Pattern in their pattern library already. We'd hate for them to have to buy it twice! If you don't have a copy already, grab yours HERE.

As soon as you join the club, you’ll have full access to your bonus Gingerbread pattern, extra printables, and more, over on the learning platform. You’ll receive an email to let you know that you can login and access the welcome content right away. Then every week for 4 weeks, you'll receive another email to let you know that week's content is ready for you. You can log in to the platform to access the weekly content whenever you like.

We're all busy, right? The Christmas Stocking Club makes it easy by releasing new materials each week for four weeks. There's no live lessons, so you won't miss all the great value the club provides. Simply log in, read the materials and follow the instructions in your own time.

This club does assume knowledge of basic sewing machine use, simple piecing like sewing fabric strips together, and using tools like a rotary cutter and mat. But the club's aim is to teach beginners new skills, and inspire confident makers to explore and expand their exisiting skills. And if you do have questions, you're always encouraged to ask in the community or via email.

We want to be sewing, not working out complicated computer stuff! If you can click a link, log into an account with a username and password, and save a PDF file to your computer, you won’t need any extra technology skills. We’re also here to help you along the way if you encounter any difficulties.

No! This club is all about finding time to sew, learn, and get creative in your own time. The four week timeline is perfect if you'd like to have your stocking ready quickly. But you can come back to club at any time, and pick up where you left off.

The beauty of this club is that the content will always be available for as long as this course platform exists.

Our club has its very own private and dedicated community just for members. You can share photos, ask questions, give support and look for real-time help. So there's no need to worry about leaving the platform! But if you'd like to share your creations on social media, you're more than welcome. We'd love you to tag @mollyandmama so that we can see your lovely work.
